Aspirin used in many skincare products for acne and exfoliation. It contains salicylic acid which cleans out pores and exfoliates the skin.
Homemade aspirin face mask is a very popular mask and it is great for acne-prone skin.
Aspirin and Honey Face Mask
Take 2-3 uncoated aspirins pills and put them on a small plate. Then sprinkle a few drops of water on them and wait 30 seconds. Next, take a spoon and crush the aspirin until it crumbles into tiny bits. Add a tablespoon or two of honey and mix it all up. Apply to the face and leave for 15-20 minutes then rinse and moisturize.
You can apply this aspirin mask on the acne spots and leave it for overnight and wash it off in the morning. Repeating the same process regularly will helps to get rid of the acne.
Egg White, Yogurt and Aspirin Mask for Large Pores
Beat one egg white until foamy and add one teaspoon of thick plain yogurt and 2 crushed aspirins. Mix well and apply the mixture on your face. Leave it for 15-20 minutes or until the face mask dries and becomes flaky. Rinse the face mask with cold water. This homemade face mask is good for oily and acne prone skin.
* Caution : Prolonged use of aspirin face mask heavy doses should be avoided, as it may leave the skin excessively dry and make it look yellow. If you are allergic to aspirin, do not attempt this face mask.
